You may remember the Infa Secure Luxi, as Australia’s first 0-8 convertible car seat – well the new Luxi II Astra is a completely redesigned version of its predessecor and better than ever!

The Luxi ll Astra features three configurations – rearward facing for infants (approx. birth to 12 months), forward facing with harness for younger children (approx. 12 months to 4 years), and booster seat mode for older children (approx. 4 years to 8 years).

Features

Active Fabric – Luxi features the new easy-care Active Fabric Astra covers which are hard wearing, cool and breathable. The machine-washable press-stud covers can easily be removed for cleaning without having to uninstall the seat, as can the shoulder pads.

Air Cocoon Technology (A.C.T.) enhances protection by dramatically reducing the impact forces during a crash.

A.C.T. utilises a layer of air held inside the entirety of the child restraint shell, offering an increased level of protection across the entire surface area of the restraint. Your child is quite literally cradled in a cocoon of air, providing a true 180 degrees of protection to your child’s vital organs.

When does my child need to convert from rearward facing to forward facing to booster seat mode?

The Luxi ll features three configurations – rearward facing for infants (approx. birth to 12 months), forward facing with harness for younger children (approx. 12 months to 4 years), and booster seat mode for older children (approx. 4 years to 8 years).

What is the difference between Luxi ll and Grandeur?

Luxi ll is a 0-8 car seat which converts to booster mode after approx 4 years of age.

Grandeur is also a 0-8 seat, however it does not convert to booster mode.

Does the Luxi II have ISOFix?

No, seats designed for older children cannot have ISOFix connectors due to vehicle anchorage points limits.
